Visit Hässlö Flygförening

Hässlö Flygförening is located at Stockholm Västerås Airport (ICAO code ESOW) 100km west of Stockholm. With more than 600 members, we are the largest flying club in northern Europe.

Our location together with our access to many different airplanes and a group of available and competent instructors makes us a great starting place to explore Sweden from the air or to further develop your flying.

For pilots visiting we are happy to assist with anything from information, checkout flights on new types or facilitating contacts to our large network of flight schools and organizations.

Visit us by air

You are welcome to visit us by air, and you can access our facilities or the apron at H24. If you plan to visit us by air, you need to familiarize yourself with the information regarding PPR and procedures for when the tower is closed. Read more here.

Rent and airplane from us

A membership, a valid license and medical together with a checkout with one of our instructors is required to rent an airplane from us. But luckily our membership fees are less than a decent dinner out for two, and the checkout flight will be both fun and informative.

Flying without EASA issued license

For pilots visiting who don’t have an EASA issued license, there is an option to get a temporary permit from our Civil Aviation Authority based on your current license.

We offer an all inclusive package that will help you with everything from the paperwork needed to the airplane rental and checkout with an instructor.
